Children's Day 2019. Let's make kids happy!
14th of November is celebrated as children’s day among Indians. It is the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru - the first Prime Minister of free India. He had had a great love for children. He wanted to be among them, talk to them and play with them. The children also loved and respected him and called him CHACHA NEHRU.
The 14th November is celebrated every year by the people of India in a befitting manner. This morning people wakeup their kids with love and wish them “Happy Children’s day” and give them some sweet gift. This makes them feel special.
Although it’s a school holiday but schools and kids organize some cultural programs, sports events etc. and that’s how they celebrate the day.
Gifting is also a very sweet part of this day. Kids exchange gifts, they give each other chocolates. Parents and elder gift some chocolates or sweet hampers to their lovely kids.
Furthering this beautiful culture we at Rakhi.com.au have set some gifts & hampers in row specially for kids and for some people who believe in making kids happy.
Its children’s day…. Lets make kids happy!
