Baisakhi Festival 2020

Baisakhi or Vaisakhi is crop harvest festival and it is also special because in 1699 the tenth guru, Guru Gobind Singh, chose Baisakhi as the occasion to transform the Sikhs into a family of soldier saints, known as the Khalsa Panth.

Round the year a farmer take care of his crop like his own child. He plows fields, plant seeds, water them and secure them from insects and wild animals. Baisakhi is the time when he harvests the crop and get the reward of his hard work.

People buy good cloths, sweets and exchange gifts and wish every one “Happy Baisakhi” and wish for their happiness and prosperity. Going “Gurudwara” (Temple) and thanking God for his mercy and remembering Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji for Khalsa is a devotional part of this festival.

The Ik Onkar is an important symbol for Sikhs, reminding them of the oneness of God and the oneness of humanity (the belief that everyone is equal). This makes it easier for them to keep the name of God (Sat Naam) in mind, to help them to live in a way that is pleasing to God.

Here are some combo of Ik Onkar Bracelets praised by our customers in festival season.

Wish you all a very happy Baisakhi, May God fill your life with joy, happiness, health and wealth.
